 nese friendship at the Japan–Swiss Spring Ball 2026\, to be held on Thur
 sday\, March 5\, 2026\, at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. Under the esteemed pa
 tronage of H.E. Ambassador Roger Dubach and with the gracious attendance o
 f H.I.H. Princess Takamado\, guests will enjoy a Swiss sparkling wine welc
 ome reception\, a French dinner with Swiss inspiration\, fine Swiss wines\
 , live music and dancing\, and a violin concert by Ikuko Kawai. The evenin
 g will also feature a charity raffle in support of the Japanese Red Cross 
 Society. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn honor of the 70th anniversary of t
 he Japan–Swiss Society\, founded in 1955 by H.I.H. Prince Takeda\, this 
 year’s Japan-Swiss Spring Ball was one of the most exciting and successf

 Composer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMs. Ikuko Kawai was born and raised in K
 agawa prefecture in Japan. Kawai graduated from the Tokyo University of th
 e Arts and completed its graduate school. Currently\, she is a professor a
 t the Osaka University of Arts. Kawai has performed with numerous internat
 ionally renowned artists and orchestras\, conductors\, and the world-famou
 s tenor\, José Carreras.Kawai's versatility extends beyond classical musi
 c. In addition to working with pop musicians\, she has also collaborated w
 ith many renowned ballet dancers. Kawai has composed for film\, television
  dramas\, and commercials\, and many of her pieces have been used by inter
 national figure skaters such as Shizuka Arakawa\, Michelle Kwan\, and Yuzu
 ru Hanyu. Kawai founded the "Ikuko Kawai Mother Hand Fund". In addition\, 
 she has been selected as an artist of friendship for "Japan for UNHCR". Th
 e Japan Shrines and Temples Association has appointed her as a goodwill am
