The Digital Twin of Your Mind – And How to Work With It
In his talk Your Brain on AI, Mr. Patrick Newell explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we think, learn, and make decisions. Speaking as an educator and social entrepreneur, he examines the intersection of neuroscience, human creativity, and machine intelligence, emphasizing the need to understand how AI influences cognitive processes. His thinking is based on the Singularity, where human & machine intelligence become equal, which is predicted to occur during the next 5-10 years. Mr. Newell will share ways we can align with the digital twins of our brain to align working and learning environments.

Biography of the Speaker
Mr. Patrick Newell is an educator and social entrepreneur based in Japan, recognized for pioneering innovative learning environments and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. Since arriving in Japan in 1991, he has co-founded transformative initiatives, including Tokyo International School and TEDxTokyo, Singularity University, and is a founding professor at Shizenkan University.
Patrick’s work bridges education, creativity, and social innovation, advising schools, companies, and government bodies on strategies that integrate global best practices with Japanese culture. He designs and moderates high-impact events, workshops, and panel discussions, connecting leaders across business, academia, and the arts.
