How recent AI innovation can change risk management in business and sustainability-related topics from a global perspective.

Artificial intelligence is transforming risk management and sustainability by enabling forward-looking, actionable insights. To stay ahead, risk-data providers must leverage proven use cases and proprietary data while combining advanced technologies — from large language models for in-depth analysis to smaller, cost-efficient models for broad coverage. Human expertise remains essential in validating outputs and enhancing accuracy, ensuring AI delivers value with trust and reliability.

At the forefront of this transformation is RepRisk, a global leader in ESG risk data. By scanning millions of documents every day across more than 200 jurisdictions, RepRisk identifies material conduct and sustainability risks, supporting financial institutions and companies worldwide in navigating an increasingly complex environment. In Japan, RepRisk has built strong partnerships with over 20 financial institutions, including the top banks, leading asset managers, JPX, and GPIF, while also working with global industrial groups to manage risk and meet sustainability goals.

Join us at the SCCIJ Luncheon to hear how RepRisk is driving innovation in AI-powered risk management and what this means for businesses in Japan and beyond.
