SCCIJ Gallery – SCCIJ Teams at Tokyo Yamathon 2026

Tokyo (SCCIJ) – 32 teams, over 120 participants, and one incredible Swiss-Japanese community! On October 17, SCCIJ members and friends took on the Tokyo Yamathon, walking and running 10, 21, or 42 km through the streets of Tokyo, combining sport, teamwork, and meaningful support for cancer research.

From first-time participants to experienced runners, the SCCIJ teams showed remarkable determination, enthusiasm, and team spirit. We were particularly pleased to welcome Mr. David Braun, Deputy Head of Mission of Switzerland in Japan, among the participants. A special congratulations to Hilton Tokyo, the first team to complete the full 42 km challenge! Beyond the finishing times, the day was a celebration of friendship, perseverance, and the connections that make our Swiss-Japanese business community so special.

Through this initiative, participants also contributed to Swiss-Japan Faces of Hope, supporting the next generation of cancer researchers. Our heartfelt thanks go to all 32 teams, participating companies, friends and supporters, and On Japan for helping make this initiative possible. We are proud of what our community achieved together.
